DIY homemade acne mask

By 11 February 2017

It completely slipped my mind that you aren’t supposed to use metal of any kind (dishes or utensils) when using bentonite clay. That isn’t a mistake I’ve made in the past, so I’m not sure if the bubbling you see in the mixing image is the reaction to combining the vinegar and clay-or the clay interacting with the metal. Either way, this DIY acne mask felt great, and next time I’ll remember not to do that!

  1. Mix bentonite clay and apple cider vinegar until well blended. Mask will be thick. Apply to face avoiding eye area and allow to dry for 10-20 minutes. Lean toward the shorter timeframe if you have sensitive skin.
